Removing Blemishes
Summary:
Ever had a photograph where the subject or person had a tatto or blemish on their skin. In this tutorial, we'll learn how to remove these unsightly tattoos or blemishes so that the skin is clean and flawless.
Step-By-Step Instructions:
1. Open the photo that has the scar, tattoo, or blemish in Photoshop.

2. Select the Clone Stamp tool.

3. Hold down the ALT key, then click the skin tone to the immediate left, right, top, or bottom of the area where the tattoo, scar, or blemish is located.

4. Let go of the ALT key and the mouse button. Re-align your cursor over the blemish, and begin painting over the area.

5. When you are done, you may notice some remaining traces of the Cloning involved. To eliminate these traces, we need to smudge and blend the area.

6. Select the Smudge tool. Set the Strength settings to 25%.

7. Smudge over the area to eliminate the traces on the skin that were left over from the Clone Stamp tool.

8. Congratulations! You should now have eliminated the blemish, scar, or tattoo!
